Concern of Idolatry in the Image of a Righteous Person

Is there a concern of idolatry in placing the image of the Rabbi from Kerestir against mice?

It depends on the intention.
If one places it with the thought that it is so that Hashem will help in the merit of the righteous person, there is no problem.
If one thinks there is an inherent power in it that prevents the mice, there is a concern of idolatry.
