Crossing in Jest

Hello Rabbi,
Christians in their prayer make a gesture they call crossing,
making a cross-like movement with their hands.
Is it serious to make such a gesture in jest?

It is forbidden to make this gesture even in jest.
This is indeed the way of idol worship. It is likely a Torah prohibition.
