Parents do not agree for their son to marry the woman he wants

Hello, a son wants to marry a certain woman, but his parents do not want him to marry her. Is he obligated to listen to them?

If the woman is suitable and appropriate for him, he is not required to listen to his parents.
However, if it is an unsuitable match that would bring disgrace to the family, he should listen to his parents in this matter and seek the advice of a sage in each specific case.
