Participation of Mourning Grandparents in a Grandson's Bar Mitzvah

Bar Mitzvah, can mourning grandparents participate?

Answer

They can participate as usual, and even eat, but not wash hands. If serving as a waiter, they may even eat, and even in Shabbat clothes.
