Wearing Shabbat Clothes at a Nephew's Wedding

Question

Is it permissible for an aunt within a year to wear Shabbat clothes when attending her niece's wedding?

Answer

Not Shabbat clothes, but Chol HaMoed clothes (although it is explained that Chol HaMoed clothes are like Shabbat clothes, nowadays, when this is not strictly observed, leniency is possible).
