Participation of a Mourner in a Friend's Wedding

Question

A woman in mourning within a year of the death of one of her parents, can she attend a close friend's wedding?

Answer

She may attend only the chuppah, and if it is very important to her, she may participate in the meal if she acts as a waitress and serves food.
