Combing a Wig During the Thirty Days of Mourning

Question

Is it permissible to comb a wig during the thirty days of mourning?

Answer

Washing a wig with water is prohibited, and if it has been washed with water, someone else must wear it. Dry combing is permitted, and this applies to Ashkenazi customs.
