Mourning – Housewarming (Chanukat HaBayit)
Question
May a mourner within the first thirty days participate in a friend’s housewarming (Chanukat HaBayit) according to Sephardic practice? And does it make a difference whether it is the meal or the order of the tikkun (Torah study)?

One may participate in the Torah study, but not in the meal.
