Burial Question
Question
IN preplanning my funeral, there are two options with one costing way less than the other. The catch is that it located father from family right now..that could change. Should i go with the less costly option thus saving money for inheritance?
Answer
Shalom!
Thank you for your question.
While it is not an outright halachic obligation, it is strongly advised for family members to be buried together.
There is no obligation according to halacha, for one to be buried in a local cemetery and not a distant one, this would be you personal decision.
