Tithes for Whom?
Question
Is giving tithes required only for the truly poor?
Because I always give to my parents - even though they are not needy and not considered poor.
Am I fulfilling the true mitzvah of tithing by doing this?

If they are struggling financially to cover monthly expenses, you should give to your parents.
If they are financially stable, you should give to others.
