Shabbat for spiritual strengthening from maaser funds
Question
The seminary administration asked us if we could help and take part in covering the expenses of a camp Shabbat that brings significant spiritual elevation to the girls, since the municipality is funding only half of the amount. I would like to clarify whether I may donate to this from maaser money.
Answer
Shalom u-vracha
It is a great mitzvah to participate in the expenses for the strengthening and spiritual elevation of the girls.
