Exchanging Teaching Hours and the Outbreak of War

Question

Shalom u’vrachah
Regarding the laws of Choshen Mishpat: two teachers agreed between themselves to exchange teaching hours. When one of them was supposed to teach on Monday, classes were canceled due to the short war. The question is whether the teacher who was supposed to teach the lessons on Monday has thereby benefited and does not have to teach a lesson, or whether the teacher who asked her to switch must provide her with replacement hours on another day.

Answer

Shalom u’vrachah

The response of the dayanim of the Beit Hora’ah:

Since it was stipulated that the day on which the teacher would work was Monday, and on Monday there was a war, the teacher is not required to make up those hours with other hours.
