Using a Synagogue Book
Question
In a synagogue where they do not allow taking books without permission, someone asked to borrow a book and received permission. Now, I am asking if I am allowed to use it and return it to him (I am not borrowing it for a period, just to study).

If the rule is always strictly observed, and only your friend received permission, another person is not allowed to use the book.
