Theft Involving Arcade Machines
Question
I am at a hotel now, and I am about to leave. The hotel has an arcade game room, meaning machines into which tokens are inserted in order to play. In one of them there was a game with those claw-like tongs that are used to take out a prize, and I banged on the machine, and by doing so I got a prize out. I do not know to whom I should return it. Is it sufficient for me to buy tokens in an amount approximately equal to the value of this item and just insert them into one of the game machines?
Answer
The solution is good, provided that others will not be able to play using those tokens.
