Income without VAT

Hello and blessings!
I studied graphic design and photography, and from time to time I receive small jobs. I did not open a business because it is not at all worthwhile for me financially.
Is it a halachic problem that I earn money from time to time and do not pay VAT? (Because I do not have a registered business.)
