Deleting forbidden images belonging to someone else

Is it permitted to delete immodest images from a USB flash drive when I do not know who the owner is?

You are permitted to delete them.
You are forbidden to return it to the owner without deleting them.
And it is likewise forbidden for you to keep it in your possession without deleting them.
