Cost of Calling a Technician by Mistake
Question
A tenant smelled gas and called a technician, who checked and said everything was fine. Who is responsible for paying the technician?
Answer
If there was a basis for his suspicion due to the smell, then the landlord should pay. However, if he was merely mistaken in illusion, he should pay himself.
