Stocks with a Concern of Jewish Ownership

Question

What is Rabbi Fried’s opinion: Is it permitted to buy investment funds abroad that hold stocks, when it is possible that they also include stocks of banks under Jewish ownership and the like?

Answer

Hello and blessings

The opinion of our teacher, Rabbi Amram Fried shlita, is that there is no need to be concerned about this, since the overwhelming majority are not owned by Jews.
