Repaying a Debt Before Yom Kippur

When must debts be repaid: before Rosh Hashanah or before Yom Kippur?

Answer

Shalom u’vrachah,

Debts must be repaid immediately when they are taken.

The great severity regarding a person who has debts applies before Yom Kippur, because Yom Kippur does not atone for this.
