Is it permissible to watch a film for women that was previously screened in community centers, but was distributed without permission and is being passed between people on a USB flash drive?

The ruling of our teacher Rabbi Amram Fried shlita is that a film that is still being sold by the producer may not be watched without payment, even though it is being distributed among people unlawfully.
