Conducting Matters with “HaShadchan”
Question
We registered on the “HaShadchan” website and received a shidduch suggestion through it. The young woman wants a relative of ours to handle the shidduch, and not the shadchanim from the website. Is it permissible to proceed this way? And if the shidduch is finalized, must we pay the “HaShadchan” website a shadchanut fee, even though in practice the shidduch was not finalized through them?
