Fasting at a Wedding Occurring the Day After Tisha B'Av
Question
Tisha B'Av falls on a Sunday, and I am getting married on Thursday of the same week. Do I need to fast, or since I fasted on Tisha B'Av, is it not necessary?
Answer
Every groom, if he has any discomfort, according to the "Aruch HaShulchan", does not need to fast. In this case, if he feels any discomfort or weakness, he should stop fasting.
