Relations with Non-Jewish Woman

Question

I am jewish single 32 almost 33 looking for someone to date. Unfortunately about 2 months ago I met someone by instagram (non Jewish girl) She lives in Venezuela and i been very interested on her and both agreed to seeing each other someday we’re been seeing each other sometimes on video calls , etc I explained her that I come from a good community in Mexico City orthodox and for sure I’m not willing to go next steps with her (marriage and kids). She understood and she talks and chat with me all the time cause we care about each other. So I have 2 questions 1) if we met someone and we want to have sex just traveling and ocasional will that can take me to gehinom or a terrible sin?? 2) if we decide to seen each other without a compromise meet families and just having fun is that too bad??

Answer

Shalom!

Thank you for your question.

As you, yourself, write, it is indeed “unfortunate” that you have met a non-Jewish girl and are considering pursuing a relationship.

It is, of course, completely forbidden to engage in any intimacy before marriage. I will also note that the vast majority of intermarriages end in divorce.

I strongly recommend that you save yourself the heartache and break off the relationship now.

Reach out to your local orthodox rabbi about dating options in your community.

Good luck!
