A Permissible Way to Castrate a Horse
Question
Is it permitted to castrate a horse? There is a specific horse that I want to buy, and for riding purposes I need it to be castrated.
I know that this is problematic, but it is important to know whether there is any way to permit it.

Answer
Shalom u’vracha.
The poskim wrote that it is permitted to sell the animal to a non-Jew so that he will have it castrated, provided that the non-Jew does not castrate it himself but gives it to another non-Jew to castrate.
