Affection between spouses in the presence of others

Question

Is casual physical contact, such as placing a hand on a friend’s shoulder and the like, permitted between a married couple in public? What defines affectionate touch (miga shel chibah)? And if it’s not permitted, may a photographer (whose income is from photography) photograph such a scene at the couple’s request?Thank you.

Answer

Shalom uVracha,

Such physical contact is not permitted in the presence of other people.

However, a female photographer may photograph them, since she is occupied with her work.
