A Woman’s Hair Covering

Question

What is the scope of the obligation for married women to cover their hair? How much hair may be left uncovered in front, and what is the halachah regarding strands of hair in the back?

Answer

Shalom u’vrachah

Outside the home, it is obligatory to cover all the hair, both in front and in back, including all the hair that belongs to the main body of the hair [and not individual hairs that grow separately].
