Can an unmarried girl recite verses with an uncovered head?

Hello,

Yes, she can recite verses and pray without a head covering.

The opinion of the Rambam requires a head covering for an unmarried girl in all matters of holiness.

However, the poskim did not write so.

See Shulchan Aruch, Even HaEzer, Siman 21, Seif 2, Chelkat Mechokek and Beit Shmuel there.
