Grandmother and Father as Wedding Attendants

Question

A bride whose mother has passed away would like her grandmother — her mother’s mother — to escort her as an attendant under the chuppah. On the groom’s side, her father will be the attendant, so it comes out that the mother-in-law and the father will be the attendants. Is there any halachic problem with this or not?

Answer

Shalom u’vracha.

There is no halachic problem with this at all.
