Trustworthiness Regarding Kashrut
Question
An employee at our workplace brought non-dairy doughnuts. He is a non-religious person and claims they are kosher for Mehadrin. Can we rely on this?

Someone who does not personally observe kashrut is not trustworthy to claim that he brought a kosher item.
