Medicine for an Infant with a Pleasant Taste — Without Kashrut Certification
Question
Is it permitted to use a medicine without kashrut certification to treat oral thrush in a 10-month-old baby girl, when the medicine has a sweet taste? The name of the medicine is: ROJAZOL. I have not currently been able to determine whether there is a similar medicine with kashrut certification.
Answer
Shalom u'vrachah.
It is permitted to use the medicine for the child's needs.
