Kashrut of Lozenges and Swallowable Medications
Question
Is there a halachic issue with ordering the following products: 1. Vitamin tablets for swallowing without kashrut certification, on which it is written that they are vegan and do not contain animal-derived ingredients, including gelatin. 2. Lozenges with Star-K certification from the United States?

1. It is permitted; there is no need for kashrut certification for this.
2. Any kashrut certification is effective to permit it in the case of medicine.
