Tithes on a potted basil plant at home
Question
Is it permitted to use the leaves of a basil plant growing in a pot at home? Do I need to separate tithes from them or be concerned about anything else?

You must separate tithes from the leaves that you pick each time.
You must also make sure that the leaves are clean and free of insects.
