What work is prohibited before Rosh Hashanah of the Sabbatical year?

It is permitted to plow, prune, and mow grass until Rosh Hashanah, as well as perform other land work. Therefore, one should dig, fertilize, and prune branches before the Sabbatical year. Rambam (Shemita and Yovel, Chapter 3, Halacha 1, 9); Azmera Leshimcha (Shemita, Issue 1).
