Orlah for Passion Fruit
Question
Do the laws of orlah apply to passion fruit growing in a pot?
Answer
Shalom u’vrachah
We are stringent and treat passion fruit as a fruit, and it is forbidden to eat it during the years of orlah.
The law of orlah applies even in a non-perforated pot.
