Meat with Milk

Is it necessary to wash a meat dish that one wants to eat with meat if it was placed on a dairy table without a cover, when no dairy is visibly present on the dish?

Hello,
If there is a concern that there might be dairy fat or residue left on the table, the dish should be washed first.
If it is clear that the table is clean, there is no need to wash the dish.
