Meat Wrapped on a Pareve Boiler
Question
A meaty dish wrapped in aluminum foil was placed on a boiling water boiler. Did the water and the boiler become meaty, and is it forbidden to use them for dairy?
Answer
If the area between the boiler and the foil is dry, it is permitted. Even if steam accumulates there and the area is moist, since there is not much moisture, it does not cause absorption and emission.
