A dairy spoon in a pareve pot

Question

Is it permitted lechatchilah to insert a dairy spoon that was used within the past 24 hours into a pareve dish in a pareve pot?

Answer

Shalom u’verachah 

If the dish contains sixty times the volume of the spoon, it is permitted to use it. 

If the dish does not contain sixty times the volume of the spoon, and one wishes to continue using the dish as pareve, one should not use such a spoon.
