Roasting Eggplant on the Grates

Hello Rabbi, is it permissible to roast an eggplant on the grates when it is wrapped in aluminum foil?

Hello,

It is permissible for two reasons. First, the grates are cleansed during cooking. Second, the eggplant is covered with aluminum foil.
