Immersion of a Vessel Partially Made of Metal

I bought a food processor where most parts are plastic, but there is a small metal piece. Does it require immersion?

If the metal part of the utensil is used for food, the entire utensil requires immersion with a blessing. However, if the metal part is not used for food and serves another purpose, such as a metal hanger, the utensil is exempt from immersion.
