How should one immerse a coffee machine?

With most coffee machines there is a problem immersing them, due to the concern that they may be damaged.
Therefore, there is no alternative but to give it to a Jewish technician, who will open the machine, deliberately damage some essential component in the device and then repair it again. In this way, it is considered that the completion of the manufacture was done by a Jew, and the appliance is exempt from immersion.
