Immersing a frying pan with a detachable handle
Question
If a frying pan was purchased without the handle attached,
and the handle has to be installed separately,
does it require immersion in the mikveh?

Answer
Shalom u’vracha.
You should first attach the handle and only afterward immerse the pan.
If it is an uncoated metal pan, it is immersed with a beracha. If the pan is coated with Teflon or another coating, it is immersed without a beracha.
