Immersion of a Coffee Can for Reuse

I finished using a coffee can. Do I need to immerse it in order to use it again?

Hello,
A can manufactured by a non-Jew is permitted to be used for what is inside it without immersion.
However, if you want to refill it with food after it has been emptied, it needs to be immersed.
