Combining Whole Wheat and White Flour for Challah Separation

Question

Dough made from whole wheat flour and regular flour, if neither has the required amount, do they combine?

Answer

If care is taken that the dough does not mix, they do not combine, and a basket combination should be made after baking, and separate without a blessing.
