Challah Separation at Age 12

Hello, is it permissible at a Bat Mitzvah celebration to allow the Bat Mitzvah girl to separate challah from the outset?

Answer

Hello 

If the celebration is on or after her birthday [according to the Hebrew calendar], she can separate challah from the outset.
