Changing the name 'Eilat' to 'Ayelet'

Question

A 4.5-year-old girl suffers from weakness and recurring lung infections, and her name is Eilat. Is adding a 'yud' to her name (Ayelet) problematic from a Kabbalistic perspective? So that she won't be mistaken and called Eilat (like the city of Eilat)..
