Participation in Elections
Question
In elections for the Knesset, is there an obligation of "ועשית ככל אשר יורוך" ("and you shall do according to all that they instruct you")?
And in general, is there a prohibition against voting in elections for the Knesset?

A–B. The ruling of our teacher Rabbi Amram Fried shlita is that there is an obligation to participate in the elections. And such is the view of most of the Gedolei HaDorot.
