Question
In elections for the Knesset, is there an obligation of “וְעָשִׂיתָ כְּכֹל אֲשֶׁר יוֹרוּךָ” (“you shall act according to all that they instruct you”)?

A. The ruling of our teacher Rabbi Amram Fried shlita is that there is an obligation to participate in the elections. And this is the view of most of the great Torah leaders of the generations.
