Swapping a Shift Scheduled for a Festival

At my workplace in software development, among other things, we are required to monitor and oversee the proper functioning of the products and clients.
There is a rotation among the employees, with a different employee doing this each week.
For Fridays and Saturdays, there are two employees who do this on a permanent basis, and they are not part of the general rotation, so they only handle weekends.
These are the facts so far.
I have now been assigned the week that includes the festival of Rosh Hashanah, and I would like to ask whether I am permitted to swap the duty with someone else, if by doing so I will cause him to desecrate the festival?

Hello and blessings.
According to the strict law, there is no prohibition against swapping with another employee yourself.
However, it is preferable to refrain from doing so and to tell the manager that you cannot work, and the manager will then swap the shifts himself.
