Price of a Chicken for Kaparot and Method of Transferring Kaparot Redemption

I don't know how much a chicken costs to perform the ritual with money, how much is it in shekels? And is it possible to do it in shekels and then donate it by credit card?

a. The current market price is approximately 30 shekels.
b. It is certainly possible to give the value of the kaparot by credit card; there is no need to give the money itself.
