Mikvah on the Eve of Yom Kippur

From what time is it appropriate to go to the mikvah on the eve of Yom Kippur?

The ideal time for immersion is after midday and before Mincha. Not earlier than an hour before midday.
However, if one cannot immerse at this time, they may do so from dawn.
