Yom Kippur Fast - Low Hemoglobin

A 75-year-old man with a hemoglobin level of 7.9 has received from his doctor 5 injections to be made once a week. He received his first injection last week. In addition, he takes medication for blood pressure, cholesterol, sugar, and blood thinning. He had a heart attack in 2005. Should he fast, eat or drink in measurements?

He should eat and drink ‘in measurements’.
Drinking 'in measurements' is 40 ml each time, eating 'in measurements' is 30 ml of food each time.
In this case, he should only wait 4 minutes between portions of food/drink.
